Synopsis:

Join Dr. Laurelle Jno Baptiste in this practical presentation and discussion on decoding agile. Using real case studies, she examines numerous approaches explored by organizations worldwide as they "go agile". 
This presentation uses humour to explore the pitfalls and wins of agile transformations. It is highly interactive as individuals will use different agile techniques to solve real business issues and to demystify successful transformations.

Dr. Jno Baptiste will outline key elements for successful agile transformation and will explain the various steps in the journey to successful transformation.

The audience will be involved to work on interactive cases in the second half of the workshop and each group's findings will be collectively discussed.

Learning Objectives: 
1. Explore different approaches utilized by organizations during enterprise-wide agile adoption.       
2. Identify the key elements that are needed for successful agile adoption 
3. Understand the various steps to successful transformation and strategies to avoid some common mistakes made during this transformation. 
4.  Interactive Learning as individuals will use different agile techniques to solve real business issues and to demystify successful transformations. 

Biography:
Dr. Laurelle Jno Baptiste is an award-winning entrepreneur, agile professional and technology consultant. She is presently Chief Operating Officer at Vocalmeet Inc (https://vocalmeet.com/).
She has over 12 years of senior leadership experience helping organizations develop and implement technology platforms and e-learning courses.
Laurelle has successfully delivered over 300 technology platforms across North America utilizing agile techniques and practices.
She now utilizes her extensive knowledge of agile to help organizations transform enterprise-wide. She conducts extensive training and consults on effective agile adoption techniques and strategies to avoid enterprise integration issues. She has worked with some of Canada’s largest corporations during their agile transformation.
Laurelle sits on several university and technology boards. She also lectures at universities on digital trends, entrepreneurship and agile project management.

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 pm, 5 business days before the event and must be sent in writing by email to events@pmitoronto.ca. There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than 5 business days before the event.
