Call for Speakers

Important Notices

The Toronto Chapter of PMI offers members a range of opportunities to connect, learn about a variety of project management topics, and earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) required for continuing certification. The PMI Toronto Professional Development team is now planning for the 2017-2018 professional development cycle. We have a number of opportunities for evening presentations beginning in the fall and would like to invite Project Managers from all business sectors and specialities to submit presentation proposals. This is a chance to share your expertise while giving back to the Project Management community. If you are interested in presenting at a Chapter meeting, please complete the Speaker Form and submit it to the PMI Toronto office via email at info@pmitoronto.ca. You can download the Speaker Form at: http://www.soc.pmi.on.ca/?page=279 The proposals we are looking for include evening presentations, lunch & learn meetings, breakfast meetings, webinars, half-day (four hours), one day, two days or even longer. The day, for the purposes of the proposal, consists of 7 to 8 hours of training time. Any workshop lasting longer than a ½ day will need to follow the RFP process. The Workshop Financial Proposal can be downloaded at the link above.
