Marc Blanchette, PMP
Marc currently serves as your PMI Toronto Chapter Continuing Education portfolio director and is the immediate past president. Prior to being Chapter President from 2016-2018, he was Secretary-treasurer for PMI Toronto, after having served as President for PMI Canada’s Technology Triangle (PMI-CTT) chapter for the previous 5 years. He is also a member of the Region 3 Leader Summit Organizing Committee and serves on the Board of Advisors for Project World. Marc was recently asked by PMI to co-present at the upcoming Leadership Institute Meeting in Los Angeles and has been accepted to the PMI Leadership Institute Master class for 2019.
Marc is a persuasive communicator and is fluent in both English and French as well as a resourceful and innovative leader who is skilled in engaging, developing and motivating team members, mentoring volunteers and providing an inclusive environment for all stakeholders. This is key in leading in a volunteer environment.
Marc is a results-oriented Project Management Professional with a sales and marketing background and more than 15 years in managing international, high-priority software & hardware projects and programs. He currently works for IBM Watson Health.
Mitchell R. Fong, PMP, P.Eng
Mitchell Fong, PMP, P.Eng. has worked with a number of the world’s most reputable companies including Apple, Boeing, Comcast, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, NASDAQ and Verizon. He serves as a Board Member for Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) at Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) - East Toronto (Director) & PMI Toronto (President). Mitchell has worked in online gaming, healthcare, aviation, digital media, telecommunications, network performance, cyber security & financial institutions.
Mitchell is involved with the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF: the philanthropic arm of the PMI) and collaborates with the Wideman Education Foundation (WEF) to host a Project Management Competition within Academia. He is committed to improving the project management profession globally and locally with a focus the Chapter's members. He helped launch the Marketing and Construction Communities, engaged Young Professionals, introduced Networking Events as an integral component to the Chapter, brought PMI Founder to Toronto and continues to be mainstay at the Chapter.
Mitchell is a Management Consultant with 10+ years in Business, Strategy & Technology with degrees in Software Engineering and Political Science. He is currently a Project Management Consultant with the Bank of Montreal in Capital Markets. Outside of PMI, Mitchell volunteers with the Chief Information Officers Association of Canada (CIOCAN), Gilda's Club, his Alma Mater and previously for the Pan Am Games and Invictus Games.
Robert Hanimyan, PMP
Rob has over 20 years of experience building and developing Operational Excellence standards and Business Consulting expertise across the financial indusrty. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto specializing in Management and Economics, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He has led National Programs focused on Operational Quality Metrics, Business Process Management (BPM), and Employee Engagement.
Over his career Rob has developed experitse for enabling transformational culture shifts in organizations through employee engagement and empowering employees to make a difference in the workplace. His mission is to work with companies striving to create an authentic, passion-driven workplace environment, that places a high value on employee innovation and creativity for the benefit of achieving greater prosperity and fulfilling the distinct purpose they are in business to deliver.
Jesus Lagunas, PMP
Jesus Lagunas is an Industrial Engineer and Project Manager with 15+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Passionate about manufacturing processes, Jesus currently works as an Assistant Plant Manager at Terrapure Environmental – Tonolli Lead Plant; a Battery Recycler/Lead Smelter facility, where he overlooks the operations.
Jesus has been a volunteer for the Toronto Chapter for 8 years holding leadership positions in the Communications, Branches & Communities, Social Responsibility and Membership Services portfolios. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors, leading the Volunteer Engagement Portfolio.
Jesus holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering, is as certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, He also holds a Project Management certificate from Centennial College, an International Business Management certificate from Fanshawe College and Project Management training from U of T Mississauga.
Winnie Liem, PMP, ITIL
Winnie is a strategic and visionary leader who has promoted excellence as a Board of Director and Volunteer for PMI since 2012.
As a professional, Winnie’s career spans over 15 years working in the Ontario Government, providing leadership and managing a multi-million dollar portfolio. Her professional strengths are in strategic leadership, coaching teams, building relationships and partnerships across the enterprise.
Winnie’s journey as a PMI volunteer began in 2012 where we managed a virtual community which transitioned into PMI’s ProjectManagement.com.
In 2014, Winnie took her knack for community building to PMI Toronto Chapter and founded the Government Community and as the Director Communities in 2016 brought together the team that started the Construction Community fueling new membership growth in industries.
This year, serving as Treasurer-Secretary, Winnie will continue to serve the volunteers and the members and strive to take the Chapter to new heights!

Victoria Nguyen, PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe SPC
Victoria Nguyen is an accomplished business executive and transformation professional. She is currently Vice President, Enterprise Project Delivery Excellence at TD Bank Financial Group. Victoria’s career spans over 20 years leading large scale change in many of North America’s best-known brands. Her strong delivery track record enabled successes in financial merger-integration, corporate restructuring, and global business and technology transformations. She is recognized for her honest, pragmatic leadership style that is engaging while ensures the delivery of the right business outcomes.
Since re-joining TD Bank in 2014, Victoria has led key business transformations in the insurance segment and spearheaded the adoption of Agile. Victoria is the Delivery Executive accountable for the Risk Marketplace program within Delivery Transformation. This critical component enables the full benefits of Agile while ensuring businesses operate within the bank's risk appetite. Prior to accepting her executive role, Victoria operated her own management consulting firm, partnering with financial services companies to achieve their transformation goals.
Victoria is an active member and volunteer for the project delivery communities along with various local charities. She has an eye for talent and is passionate about creating diverse, high-achieving teams. Victoria is an advocate for greater learning, diversity & inclusion, women in leadership and visible minority causes.
Ricardo Mäcorin, PMP, MBA, COBIT, ITIL
Ricardo is Portfolio Manager with more than 20 years of professional experience in technology and innovation. He has been a Project Management Professor, Entrepreneurship Mentor, Financial Guru and Administration Adviser for both universities and non-profit organizations. Founding his first company in 2003, he has been expanding his entrepreneurial and business consultancy ever since. Through managing large and small projects and portfolios; and developing leaders and business plans for organizations, Ricardo's passion for learning and sharing knowledge has inspired his pursuit of further educational qualifications in Project Management, IT Management, Financial Management and Entrepreneurship.
Currently enrolled in Centennial College's Financial Services program with his past education includes prestigious institutions such as: IFSP, FIAP, SENAC, Babson College and MIT. Ricardo, a native to Brazil is fluent in both English and Portuguese, has been a dedicated PMI member since 2012 previously volunteering for PMI Sao Paulo. He believes strongly that PMI has been critical to his career success and energized to contribute to the PMI Toronto Board of Directors.
Bola Otaraki, PMP, MBA, ITIL, CSM
Bola Otaraki, a Senior Project/Program/Portfolio Manager, Management Consultant and Chemical Engineer has over 17 years’ experience working in the Banking/Financial services, Public sector and Telecommunications sectors, focusing on Infrastructure and Application development projects both locally and internationally.
She is not only passionate about state-of-the-art Project, Program and Portfolio Management success, but also about impacting people around her positively in helping to transform organizations and communities around the world by successfully leading and directing project excellence! Her drive, passion, focus and energy are contagious!
Bola is a firm believer in giving back positively to society with her skills, time and energy. She is able to touch lives positively; constantly leaving a lasting legacy.
Volunteering is a way of life for Bola. Since coming to Canada in 2006 and before then, she consistently volunteers her time, energy and expertise in different communities, areas of interest and her profession and has volunteered at senior levels (including the Board level) with The PMI Toronto Chapter, the Toronto Board of Trade, Agincourt Community Services Agency, TDSB, Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, YCC 93 and her local church.

Steve Wong, PMP
Steve is an active volunteer and supporter for Project Management at PMI, PMI Toronto Chapter (SOC). Steve was appointed by PMI Toronto's board in 2014 as the Vice President Finance, and subsequently elected as Director of Finance for Fiscal 2015 and Fiscal 2016. He has been a volunteer in the Program Advisory Committee in George Brown College, School of Accounting and Finance since 2012.
Steve has been active with PMI - a Content Team volunteer from 2010 to 2012 in the development of the Fifth Edition PMBOK Guide, the Vice President Marketing in 2010 of Bruce Branch in PMI South Western Ontario Chapter and the Vice President Finance in 2011 of the Bruce Branch.
Steve is a Project Management Consultant, specializing in risk analysis of mega projects, and implementation of infrastructure projects and enterprise wide applications. Steve has been working in projects for the past 30+ years. The list of organizations where Steve has been successfully managing projects includes Amec, Arthur Andersen (Accenture), Bruce Power, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, Cisco Canada, the Government of Canada, the Government of China, the Government of Hong Kong, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, McDonald’s, Ontario Power Generation, Royal Bank of Canada, Rogers Communication, and the United Nations.
