About Us

The Project Management Office (PMO) Branch is a PMI Toronto community focused on delivering value to PMO practitioners through identifying and highlighting best practices in PMO leadership. PMOs are as unique as the organizations they serve. This community aims to build the capacity of PMOs and PMO practitioners, to best support project managers and the range of projects they lead.

Vision

The PMO Branch aims to be an active and vibrant community of choice for PMO practitioners, promoting best practices for effective PMOs and related areas. We strive to be responsive to the needs of its community, and offer valuable resources that build the capacity of the project management profession. 

Objective and Goals

The PMO Branch will establish and increase community participation and engagement in PMO related thought leadership and practical knowledge application.

To deliver value to PMIT members and the broader PMO community by:

  • Identifying and responding to the needs of the PMO community
  • Offering a variety of events, resources and programs targeting current opportunities and challenges within the PMO arena, and
  • Supporting professional development through sharing best practices, and providing advice for implementation and continued growth.
