PMI Toronto Volunteer Awards 2019

Volunteer Award

On 10th June 2019, while the Toronto Raptors were busy making history, PMI Toronto also played host to some outstanding performers of our own. Members were recognized for their continued contribution to PMI Toronto across the spectrum from new members to leaders and veterans of the chapter. The Colin J. Morris Award was presented to Mr Peter J. Monkhouse, who has served in various capacities including as president and as member of board of directors of PMI Toronto. Among the other notable awardees is Summer Ridley who was recognized as volunteer of the year. Congratulations to all the winners!!!

Outstanding new Volunteer contribution

Recognizes an individual that has served as a volunteer with the chapter for less than one year, whose contributions have significantly impacted our membership, our Chapter objectives. 

Winner : Pranjal Joshi

Outstanding Volunteer Contribution

Recognizes an individual that distinguishes himself/herself through time contributions and impact to the members and/or objectives of the Chapter. 

Winner : Swithin Pais

Volunteer Leadership

Recognizes an individual that distinguishes themselves through leadership and influencing peers and fellow volunteers by advancing activities that are critical for PMI TORONTO members and the strategic objectives of the Chapter. 

Winners : John Kaldor & Bernie Crawford

Volunteer of the Year

Recognizes the individual with the greatest impact on advancing the project management profession through PMI TORONTO initiatives and its local communities of practice. This includes mentoring fellow members or aspirants to the Project Management profession, being involved in Project Management Conferences, organizing, creating or enhancing programs for members, creating local communities and improving the profession at large.

Winner : Summer Ridley

Colin J. Morris Award : PMI Toronto Lifetime Contribution Award

In recognition of members long-standing contribution to excellence in the project management profession and their commitment to the ideals and values of PMI and PMI Toronto Chapter. Colin Morris is a founding member of Chapter. From the time the founding group met, Colin immediately stepped forward and volunteered in many aspects of the chapter’s growth and development. Colin held numerous positions on various PMI Global Headquarters and Chapter committees, serving at the Chapter President in 1984.
