PMIT COVID-19 Update
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of our personal and professional lives. It has also affected PMI Toronto, including the format of Chapter events and internal operations. Throughout 2020, our volunteers, members, and guests' health and safety have been one of our top priorities. In 2021, we will continue delivering events and courses virtually and revisit our approach regarding in-person activities depending on local COVID-19 guidelines.
We would like to sincerely thank all our members for continued support throughout these unprecedented times to renew membership and attend virtual events. We are also incredibly thankful for our fantastic team of PMI Toronto volunteers, who dedicate their time and skills to ensure that Chapter activities continue to run smoothly.
The news of the COVID-19 vaccine rolling out in Ontario is promising for everyone. We do encourage all members to continue taking precautions to keep you and your families safe, and protecting others who might be at higher risk for developing complications. For the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 and health guidelines, please refer to official resources, including Health Canada, Public Health Ontario, World Health Organization and PMI Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update.
If you have further questions or require clarification, please contact us at info@pmitoronto.ca.
We hope you and your loved ones will remain safe!

In the current stressful times of COVID-19, PMI Global would like to remind its members of the financial assistance under the PMI Hardship Provision.
The PMI Hardship Provision is available to any PMI member whose financial condition has changed drastically and sufficiently so that a member would have difficulty renewing their membership. Under this provision, a member is granted a waiver for one year of PMI membership dues and one year of dues for membership to their local PMI Chapter.
For consideration
- A member must be in good standing for at least 3 previous years.
- To apply, send a letter explaining the nature of the hardship, along with your PMI invoice, to the attention of PMI’s Membership Processing prior to your membership expiration date, to the address below.
Please remember that any incorrect or untrue statements made by a member are in violation of the Project Management Institute Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and may lead to the initiation of an ethics complaint in accordance with the PMI Ethics Case Procedures.
