PMI-SOC Chapter Meetings = Excellent networking opportunities!

Synopsis:
If you’ve never managed a marketing project, now might be a good time to expand your experience into this domain. If you’ve avoided marketing PM opportunities because, from a distance, they seem lightweight with teams made up of flaky, artsy types, give it another look.

Although there are some universal project management principles, every domain has some unique elements. Some marketing projects present challenges that a technology-focussed PM may never have encountered, such as:
1. Delivery to fixed deadlines
2. Managing creative services vendors
3. Covering both the business and technology sides of a project

Join us for a panel discussion with marketing executives who have successfully delivered in these very demanding circumstances, and discover how this could ratchet up your effectiveness as a project manager.
