Speaker Bios:
Alain Fournier is a Project and Portfolio Management Solutions Executive with Microsoft Canada specializing in Cloud Productivity Solutions
Have over 20 years of experience in working with enterprise customers, identifying opportunities for efficiencies or improved productivity, and helping them set a roadmap for success. Related focus areas have included enterprise resource planning solutions, customer resources management solutions and project and portfolio management solutions all supporting leadership empowerment through business insight and more recently project leaders experience and productivity solutions, enabling efficient project management business practices in communications and collaboration for my customers.
As I work with customers, my primary focus is understanding their business drivers, and educating them on new business approaches that help drive them and there organizational group to exceed their goals, and support cost controls and project management governance and growing revenue for their business. My collaborative communications approach and strong business know knowledge has been enhanced over the years through multiple engagements with customers and partner helping them through a solid approach to matching business needs to solutions and will yield fast and strong business results.
In Public Sector, I have helped them implement a new portfolio management solution to manage and efficient decision process in projects prioritization.
From lines of business to IT, my business is helping you be more productive in your business.
David is the National Program Director for Project Management and Business Analysis with the Schulich Executive Education Centre, Schulich School of Business, York University. He is also a regular blogger, podcaster and professional speaker specializing in leadership, strategy execution and professional growth. He has published four books: The Power of The Plan, The Keys to Our Success, the Business Analyst Book of Mentors and Leadership Perspectives. He has one more in production due out in 2016 – From Strategy to Execution – Bridging the Gap. Previously, he was the Group Conference Director at Diversified Business Communications where he ran project management and business analysis events around the world and he was the Executive Editor and founder of ProjectTimes.com and BATimes.com. David lives in Port Credit, Ontario, just outside on Toronto, with his wife Karen. He has 4 children (most with spouses) and two grandchildren. For fun: golf, road biking, skiing, bridge, travel and wood working.

Diana is a PMP & LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt; published project management writer and PMI public sector volunteer leader. She was winner of PMI`s global Component Leader of the Year Award 2007; Outstanding Team Leader recognition Government COP 2009.
Her career in the Ontario Public Service spans 15 years. She is an active volunteer/member of the Ontario Public Service Facilitator's Network as well as an 'Engagement' Practitioner which means she volunteers to lead the Federal Government's National Manager's Community' Tools for Engagement – Six Pack sessions which promotes a vibrant inter-governmental engagement Community of Practice which espouses that 'Team Building is not a workshop!'

There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than 5 business days before the event. However, substitutions are welcome. Please let us know by 12:00 noon the day before the event of the person you wish to substitute by emailingevents@soc.pmi.on.ca.
