The word “transformation” is used more and more to describe projects and initiatives. But what does this word actually mean, and how does a transformational objective challenge our norms for leading projects? This presentation will examine what makes transformational projects different and provide a guideline for what leaders and participants in these projects may need to consider and manage.

Lucy Bellissimo is a seasoned professional with over 35 years experience as a leader in both the public and private sector.  Lucy has led large operational departments, managed small focused project-oriented teams and directed transformational projects. Lucy has led professional associations and has been a regular presenter at conferences for much of her career. Lucy’s area of focus is on steering projects through complexity and building teams which are self-directed and outcomes oriented. Lucy is a dynamic and engaging speaker who links real-life experience with theoretical concepts.
