Synopsis:


In this lesson, Niki will break down the complexity of blockchain use cases into easily digestible information for project managers who are new to the blockchain environment.

In efforts to keep our PMI chapter members up to date with this emerging technology including best practices for project managers, this program promises to bring multiple takeaways to get you started in building your blockchain toolbox.

  • to understand an introductory overview of blockchain technology and its uses
  • to identify how project management methodology is used for blockchain projects
  • to explore learning resources and employment opportunities for project managers in the blockchain space

Niki Weiss

Niki Weiss, a long-standing active member and volunteer of PMI Delaware Valley Chapter, offers the information you need to stay ahead of the exciting BLOCKCHAIN movement.

Niki is currently pursuing her Masters in Legal Studies with a concentration in data privacy & cybersecurity through Drexel's Kline School of Law. Through her studies as well as her involvement to international organizations of Government Blockchain Association, Global Blockchain Initiative/Blockchain Academy, Blockchain Training Alliance, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Niki built an advanced knowledge of the blockchain environment.

Niki has held several roles within her local PMI chapter including Director of Volunteers, Director of Education, Disciplined Agile Champion, and most recently a member of the Board. She also works as a full-time project manager for the health insurance company, Cigna.
