CHAPTER MEETING - LEARN PROJECT RECOVERY WITH NO PAIN

PMI Toronto Chapter Meeting

Title: Learn Project Recovery with No Pain

Synopsis:
Project failure is not uncommon as has been documented by many authorities such as The Standish Group, Project Management Institute, and others. The magnitude and impact across the organizations varies depending on the type of project and the nature of failure. A troubled or failed project displays many symptoms such as missing deadlines, over budget, out of control, etc. Such a project will continue on a path to failure if recovery efforts do not start swiftly. This presentation will take you through the steps to protect and recover your projects with the least amount of pain.

Learning Objectives:
The attendees will learn how to avoid the pain of dealing with troubled and failed projects. They will learn the steps to keep the projects out of trouble, and if they fail, to bring them back on track and subsequently achieve the project’s objectives successfully.
