PMI-SOC GOVERNMENT COMMUNITY - KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER: IF WE ONLY KNEW WHAT WE KNOW

Event Type: Government Community

Event Topic: Knowledge Transfer: If We Only Knew What we KNOW

Synopsis:

It is well known in Project Management that Lessons Learned are critical to capturing insights that can be applied to future projects, yet organizations fail to recognize the value of leveraging this knowledge in a meaningful way.
When organizations value knowledge transfer and implement good practices to support it, they improve project outcomes substantially – by nearly 35%! Although specific practices vary among organizations, the most effective organizations report adhering to a 5-step method for identifying, capturing, sharing, applying and assessing knowledge.

Join us at this event an learn from our experts on:
• The Knowledge Transfer Life Cycle
• How Knowledge Transfer Can Improve Performance and Project Outcomes
• Why Organizations like Government need to focus on KT
• Best Practices and Methods/Steps for Implementing an Effective KT Program
• Case Studies and Evidence of Success in Knowledge Transfer
