Title: How to Apply Earned Value Management for Agile Projects?

Synopsis:
Earned Value Management, or EVM, gains in popularity among Agile practitioners as a method of measuring project performance. 
The content of the presentation will briefly review the origins and concepts of Earned Value Management (EVM), followed by its application in traditional projects. It then will suggest the application of Earned Value Management to Agile software projects.

Bio:
Ivan Papes PMP, MSC in Computer Science has over 18 years' of experience as a project/program manager in large, complex, enterprise level projects. He has expertise in various industries such as Healthcare (CCAC, MOLTC and CIHI), Consulting (CGI, KPMG), Telecommunication (AT&T, Bell Canada, Motorola), and Financial (Trans Union, NCR). 
Last twelve years he managed programs in healthcare industry. His latest involvement was a multi-year, multi-stakeholder program with goal to develop, evaluate and implement evidence based client care delivery model providing seamless and efficient integration of the business processes among the key stakeholders such as MOHLTC, LHIN, HQO, FHT (Physicians), Hospices and CCAC. His recent work was recognized and awarded for exceptional strategic management and valuable contribution for achieving program objectives.

He enjoys travelling and social activities hiking camping, and photography.
