Synopsis:

Information and empowerment to navigate this new world powered by artificial intelligence. The panelists will share their perspectives on the ways Artificial Intelligence underpins our daily lives today, and the connections to Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

 

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  • Combat the implicit challenges of Artificial Intelligence in our daily lives
  • Navigate Artificial Intelligence challenges in the workplace
  • The session will raise attendees level of awareness and understanding of Artificial Intelligence issues

Yomi Odedeyi, LL.B, MBA, Ph.D., PMP

Yomi Odedeyi volunteers as Director of Technology and Events for PMI Lakeshore, Ontario Chapter. Yomi has 25+ years technology leadership and consulting experience working with teams delivering diverse enterprise cloud application projects across the US, Canada and Nigeria.

His industry experience spans retail, finance, telecom, manufacturing and utilities. He has led numerous IT integration projects across SAP, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle and other enterprise systems.

In previous careers he worked as a criminal defense attorney, banker and financial analyst in Nigeria.

Abiola Lovell, MBA, PMP, CSM, PROSCI-CM

Abiola is a seasoned project consultant and has worked in the retail, manufacturing, pharma, start-up and non-profit industries. She has managed and executed business transformation, technology, and strategic projects and has gained extensive experience in leadership, executive communications, stakeholder engagement and change management while supporting diverse teams and managing complex projects.

Abiola currently volunteers with the governance committee for the PMI Lakeshore, Ontario Chapter and has held various roles within the chapter for over a decade. She holds an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business school and has completed additional studies in Project Management, Change Management, Diversity and Inclusion, and Communications.

Abiola is the proud mother of three children and enjoys traveling.
