PMI-SOC WEBINAR - GETTING PASSION OUT OF YOUR (PROJECT MANAGEMENT) PROFESSION

Event Type: PMI-SOC Webinar
Speaker:
Nina Spencer
Topic: Getting Passion Out of Your (Project Management) Profession

Overview:
Some arrive and the energy rises. With others, it plummets. Under which category do you fall? Are you aware of how you are perceived by those with whom you daily interact? Is there a chance you know how to demonstrate your positive attitude, leadership expertise, team spirit, sense of humour and skilled communications, but find these traits aren’t coming through lately because politics, changes and daily stresses get you down... or because it feels like it’s “the same old” for too long?

What’s the one thing that’s more contagious than passion for your profession?
The lack of it!

This webinar offers attendees a forum to examine strategies for reconnecting with their original passion for the good work they perform, and discover/reconnect with techniques to build collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients. The presentation’s underpinning premise: each professional’s passion is “in there somewhere,” but long hours, days, months and years on-the-job can zap even the most dedicated and focused. With infusions of humour, as well as do-able today” content, Getting Passion… offers strategies for rebuilding and/or fortifying workplace passion and harmony, and inspires participants to apply these lessons learned to their private lives, too, because, "wherever you go… there you are!
