PMI-SOC WEBINAR - HOW TO SURVIVE A PROJECT MANAGEMENT AUDIT
Event Type: PMI-SOC Webinar
Speaker: Rakhi Henderson
Topic: How to Survive A Project Management Audit
Overview:
It’s a common phenomenon – just the mere thought of a project audit can bring instant sweat to even the most experienced PM’s brow. Not only do they have tight deadlines to meet and difficult stakeholders to manage, now they have to entertain a third party interloper whose job it is to cut up their project!! It’s enough to make anyone nervous! But not to worry – you can relax and take a breath because project audits don’t need to be like this. They are actually supposed to help a project manager deliver the project as smoothly as possible. The very core of Project Management is risk management and as projects struggle to keep up with the quicksilver pace of business, there is always the risk that something won’t go as planned. This is when a project auditor can actually become a PM’s best friend. This presentation will explore the positive aspects of project audits, how a project audit can actually help a PM and tips to navigate the audit process so it’s a win/win situation for everyone!
