The need to use this in-class training and the materials combined has come about as a result of years of successful experience by the instructors who have identified that individuals hardly keep to their schedule when they study alone, let alone complete the program. By this instructor lead class, they have the opportunity to be encouraged, ask questions and get issues clarified to them through interactive sessions.

  • The course material designers have included sample quiz to provoke worthy class discussions that will clarify issues during the training.
  • This will be used area by area with participants expected to bring to the class any question they are unable to answer on their own so that it will be dealt with in the class.
  • The class is instructor lead and is expected to go interactive to enable candidates maximize their opportunities to understanding project management standard in line with PMI® standard.
  • It is therefore expected that a mastery of this program materials and given quality attention to PMBOK® Guide Fifth Edition and readings from diverse knowledge areas will build confidence for candidates to challenge PMP® examinations, besides enhancing their project management skills at work.
  • Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills to face project management assignments, and prepare candidates for PMP® examination besides providing the 35 contact hours required.
  • Participants will be able to Plan projects, design a sample project charter, work breakdown structure, Gantt chart, do calculations of earned value components, and project cost and contract calculations etc. etc.
  • They will be able to design stakeholders’ matrix, classify types of risk and responses.
  • They will be able to engage in control process and address conflicts concerns in project teams as well as be able to plan communications among other key factors.
