BA Community - Business Analysis Tools and Techniques

Ways of Working

SOLD OUT! - No Walk-Ins will be accepted at the door.

Synopsis:

Join us for an exciting event about BA tools and techniques in an ever-changing digital world. This event is presented by the PMI Toronto BA Community in partnership with our sponsors: Microsoft, who will introduce us to Digital Transformation at Microsoft and Points, who is providing us a cozy, Agile space to network and learn.

What are the techniques to help you become a better BA? How is the world of a BA professional changing and how can you make the best of today’s digital capabilities to achieve your goals?

In the first part of this event Sasha Aganova will introduce key techniques that help BAs, Business Architects and Process Professionals to become better at what they do and make it easier for their stakeholders to understand what’s going on. One of the focus points will be the business process analysis and design, which is a core competency for all business analysts and architects. It is also a key component for any BA certification.

Digital transformation has reached every facet of Microsoft from smarter buildings to modern capabilities providing real-time actionable insights. In the second part, Eric Wand will delve into emerging topics such as Tech Intensity, Citizen Developers, how AI is changing our landscape, how Canada is transforming with the Cloud, and Canada’s $2 Billion Supercluster initiative to get us there. We will also spotlight with a few interesting videos of how lives are transforming through Digital Transformation and of course make time throughout to answer questions.
