Event Topic: The Nine Skills That Will Send Your Career Soaring
Synopsis:
In this powerful learning experience Uri will share four advanced career-driving skills which will help position you for your next promotion.
The presentation is based on the Executive Coaching experience which Uri gained while working with many CEOs, VPs, Directors, and Managers.
It also includes concepts from leadership luminaries such as Warren Bennis and John C. Maxwell.
The career-driving skills Uri will discuss include:
1. Communicating with impact
2. Making the most of you Advocate and Mentors
3. Navigating the political landscape
4. Creating your professional brand
The presentation includes real life case stories, activities, and lively discussions with the audience.
Bio:
Uri spent most of his career in senior Management Consulting positions, including Global Partner with the Consulting Firm Accenture in South Africa, Vice President with Oracle Corporation in the USA, and Senior VP with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Canada. In these roles, Uri helped his C-Level clients and their teams develop business strategies and implement complex operational projects.
In the last 8 years, Uri shifted from active consulting to mentoring, coaching, writing, and speaking on topics such as Leadership, Organizational Transformation, and Personal Development.
Uri earned both his MSc in Bio-Medical Engineering and his MBA in South Africa. Uri is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and was certified as a Corporate Coach.
Uri is an avid traveller, amateur photographer, and long distance runner.

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 pm, 5 business days before the event and must be sent in writing by email to events@soc.pmi.on.ca. There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than 5 business days before the event. However, substitutions are welcome. Please let us know by 12:00 noon the day before the event of the person you wish to substitute by emailing events@soc.pmi.on.ca
