Overview:
The objective of this presentation is to provide an introduction to the professional project management industry in Canada for individuals looking to start a career or build further upon their career in this field. The workshop is especially relevant for internationally trained or Canadian trained individuals who are new to the Project Management profession (1-3 years of experience). The presentation will feature six progressive steps, integrating important tools and techniques that can be implemented directly to launch a career in Project Management.

Bio:
Nida is a Project Manager with multi-industry experience and has participated and led challenging and high stakes projects in Pharmaceuticals, Technology, Manufacturing, Not for Profit Management and Banking sectors.
Nida completed her MBA from McMaster University, DeGroote School of Business and obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation shortly after. She currently works on strategic, enterprise-wide projects in the Banking sector and is also an instructor at PMInfinity, a boutique training provider that offers custom-made, leading edge, skills-based training in professional project management and business analysis topics.
