Synopsis:
The only thing we can count on today is that things are going to change and the pace is accelerating.  The Plans, Schedules and Scripts that worked in the past may no longer be working and resources are tighter than ever. The future remains uncertain yet you still need to perform.  Every PMP knows they need to expect the unexpected but can you learn to like it or even thrive in it…? 

It is time for Project Manager to Work UnScripted 

You will be introduced to The UnScripted Mindset™ that will allow you to face uncertainty and ambiguity to create opportunity. Based on the principles of improv and problem solving you will laugh while you learn tools & techniques that will allow you to manage the UnExpected, the UnPredictable and the UnAvoidable. 

At this event, you will learn to:

• Harness the power of working and leading using the UnScripted Mindset
• Leverage the critical skills of successful improvisers to think on your feet, adapt to unexpected changes, communicate effectively, collaborate skillfully, negotiate and engage, develop trust and support
• Have the confidence and the courage to face unknown obstacles and challenges and handle unexpected situations with ease
• Laugh while you Learn Tools & Techniques that can be applied immediately in your work 

Biography:

Jennifer is a recovering corporate executive who now helps organizations Do Things Differently and work UnScripted. Jennifer works with teams and organizations to help them Solve Problems, Plan Strategically and make innovation and creativity a reality in their workplace.

Prior to starting Clean Slate, Jennifer was Vice President of both Human Resources and Marketing for a national retailer and understands the importance of both employee and customer engagement.  As a graduate of both Ivey’s Executive MBA program and Second City, Jennifer operates where the business and creative worlds collide. Jennifer has worked with diverse groups including CIBC, the ASQ, and NASA.  Jennifer is a member of the Global Speakers Federation, the International Association of Facilitators, the Institute for Performance and Learning, the Human Resources Professional Association, the Applied Improvisation Network, the Canadian Society of Association Executives and sits on the Board of Directors of the BEICC, Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada.  Jennifer is the Author of the upcoming book “UnScripted”.

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 pm, 5 business days before the event and must be sent in writing by email to events@soc.pmi.on.ca. There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than 5 business days before the event. However, substitutions are welcome. Please let us know by 12:00 noon the day before the event of the person you wish to substitute by emailing events@soc.pmi.on.ca.

Photography & Filming: Photographs, audio, and video are sometimes captured during PMI-SOC events. By registering, attendees hereby grant PMI-SOC and its representatives permission to photograph and/or record them at events, and distribute (both now and in the future) the attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
