PMI Business Analysis Standard Public Review Party – PARTY LIKE A BUSINESS ANALYSIS ROCK STAR!
FREE copies of PMI’s Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide for the first 200 attendees! - $30.00 USD value!
Synopsis:
November 2015, PMI announced they were creating a standard in business analysis to accompany:
· The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide),
· The Standard for Program Management,
· The Standard for Portfolio Management, and
· The Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3)®
The public review window provides PMI’s membership the opportunity to offer feedback into PMI’s 5th foundational standard slated for release in Q4 of 2017. This is your chance to be a part of business analysis history!
We are very excited to host our own viewing party where we will have Dave Bieg, Program Manager for Business Analysis and Requirements at PMI, discuss PMI’s decision to embark on this initiative and the value of the new standard. We will also highlight the process that was taken to develop the standard. Cheryl Lee, Chair of the PMI-SOC Business Analysis Community, and one of the core team contributors to PMI’s business analysis standard will walk us through the structure of the upcoming publication.
This is a great opportunity for you to obtain an overview of PMI’s business analysis program as well as the standard, ask questions directly to the folks who are working on this project and PARTY LIKE A BUSINESS ANALYSIS ROCK STAR at the Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of downtown Toronto!
There will be food, drinks, a fun photo booth, FREE copies of PMI’s Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide for the first 200 attendees to arrive in person at the event, a prize draw for a two day pass to ProjectWorld*BAWorld, a prize draw for a $700 gift certificate towards a course at University of Toronto Continuing Studies, and great networking opportunities! Come celebrate with us!
