Title: Technologies for Digital Transformation - Cloud and The Internet of Things
Synopsis:
This seminar will introduce the emerging technologies that have become key to the digital transformation, with emphasis on cloud computing, the Internet of Things and Blockchain.
While cloud computing has been evolving for almost a decade, IoT and Blockchain have just reached their tipping points in 2016.
The seminar will discuss recent advances such hybrid clouds, cloud platforms, microservices and multi-cloud integration. It will also provide examples of how IoT and Blockchain could change business operations and how potentially disruptive they could be in the next few years.
In addition, the seminar will look at how these technologies challenge project management processes by emphasizing “as a service” approaches, by supporting rapid change and by including widespread integration. Attendees will gain an appreciation of how the next generation of systems can change how we design and build business systems.
