Title: An Evening with Jim Snyder

Synopsis:
Join Us for An Evening with Jim Snyder

It began during a dinner meeting in early 1969 among three men at a small, intimate restaurant, named the Three Threes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The dinner represented the culmination of several months of discussions between, Jim Snyder and Gordon Davis. By the conclusion of this meal, the three decided that a new organization should be created to provide a means for project managers to associate, share information and discuss common challenges.

Mr. Snyder is a founder of the Project Management Institute, a Fellow of the Institute, and a past Volunteer Executive Director, President and Chairman of the Board. He remains active with the Institute, serving on the Board of Directors of the PMI Educational Foundation, Treasurer of the Delaware Valley Chapter, and a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Project Management Journal. Mr. Snyder, who is casually referred to as the "Father of PMI," has been awarded the PMI Man of the Year Award and is an Honorary Life Member of the Institute.

PMI Toronto Chapter and the Canada’s Technology Triangle Chapter are proud to present “An Evening with Jim Snyder”.  Please join us in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario on April 19th or in Toronto on April 20th for an interactive discussion with Jim and special guest Peter Monkhouse (past-PMI Chair) to understand PMI’s beginnings, current trends in the profession, as well as the future direction of the profession from Jim and Peter’s perspectives.

Please come prepared to pose questions and participate by offering your own perspective to the discussion!
