In Person: Social Good Event - Weaving a Better World
The Event:
The PMI Toronto Chapter, in collaboration with Milk Bags Unlimited, presents "Milk Bag Magic: Weaving a Better World."
Join us for a practical activity focused on recycling and community service. Participants will work together to create mats and other useful items from recycled milk bags, providing much-needed resources for communities both locally and internationally. No previous skills required.
Objective:
- This event aims to encourage collaboration and social responsibility within the PMI Toronto Chapter while contributing to an important cause.
- By repurposing milk bags into valuable items, we promote sustainability and offer support to those who need it most.
Join us for an evening of networking, giving back, and helping weave a better world. Hurry! There are only a limited number of spots are available!

Presenter:
Angela Kesthely:
Angela Kesthely is the founder and a devoted worker for Milk Bags Unlimited. She started the “milk bag” project in 2010, dedicating her time to helping the poor around the world, by encouraging people in Canada to crochet and weave sleeping mats out of milk bags. Over 65 000 mats have gone to people in need, mainly through the help of Canadian Food for Children in Mississauga.
