In this session, we’ll explore practical tools and frameworks to help you understand and confidently manage your unique career journey. Whether you're facing change, seeking clarity, or simply curious about what’s next, this session will empower you to embrace your career path zigs, zags, squiggles and all with purpose and resilience.

  • Describe how career development theory and labour market information validate the existence of non-linear careers and demonstrate the potential to thrive on this path
  • Use new career development tools to imagine different versions of your future and steer yourself in the direction(s) of your choice
  • Feel more confident telling your professional stories, including by owning the non-linear pieces of those stories

Carli Fink

Carli Fink is a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) and a firm believer in the radical idea that each of our lives is full of possibilities - no matter our age, identity, or professional background. Her journey into career development work began with her own career exploration as a student who couldn't imagine just "picking one thing" to do forever.

Carli is the Founder of Foreseeable Futures, a career consultancy challenging the narrative of the linear career path. Her writing and commentary on careers has been featured in QS Insights, Psychology.org, Forbes, and University Affairs.
