In Person: Social Good Event - Write a Card. Share a Moment. Bring a Smile 💌
Synopsis:
Write a Card. Share a Moment. Bring a Smile.Â
This season, rediscover the joy of a handwritten message by joining PMI Toronto for a meaningful volunteer event where we will create uplifting, non-denominational cards for seniors in care facilities across Canada.
Many seniors living in long-term care and retirement homes across Canada face isolation, especially during the winter months. You can help brighten their day with a simple, meaningful gesture: a handwritten card. Whether you write in English, French, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese, your words can make a powerful difference.
Together, we will create cards filled with kind messages of encouragement and positivity, which will be donated to Sending Sunshine - a Canadian charity that distributes uplifting cards to seniors in care facilities across the country.
All supplies and writing guidelines will be provided - no experience needed.
This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with fellow PMI Toronto members, and earn PDUs, all while supporting and bringing smiles to seniors.
