In-Person Service Project: Don Valley Stewardship & Networking
Synopsis:
PMI Toronto’s Social Good Workstream invites members to give back by joining an environmental stewardship event with Don’t Mess with the Don.
Since 2020, this initiative has been restoring the Don Valley ecosystem in Crothers Woods by removing invasive species like Dog-Strangling Vine and replanting native species such as Milkweed to support local wildlife, including Monarch butterflies.

Event Highlights:

- Guided by experienced stewards

- Post-event networking with pizza and drinks
PDUs:
- Up to 4.0 (Giving Back - self-reported through PMI profile dashboard)
- Since the event is flexible, please claim 1 PDU per hour of participation

9:45 AM - Registration
10:00 AM - Presentation
10:15 AM - Invasive species removal activity
12:30 PM - Light lunch and networking
2:00 PM - Conclude
Special Notes:
- Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor work.
- Dress in active wear and bring a water bottle and sun protection.
- Provided for you are gloves and supplies.
- Lunch will be provided towards the end of the activity.

Fees:

PMI Toronto Members (login prior to registering): $15.00
- The fee secures your spot since capacity is limited. It also helps cover event costs.
