The Event:

The PMI Toronto Chapter, in collaboration with Milk Bags Unlimited, presents "Milk Bag Magic: Weaving a Better World."

Join us for a practical activity focused on recycling and community service. Participants will work together to create mats and other useful items from recycled milk bags, providing much-needed resources for communities both locally and internationally.  No previous skills required.

Objective:

She started the “milk bag” project in 2010, dedicating her time to helping the poor around the world, by encouraging people in Canada to crochet and weave sleeping mats out of milk bags. Over 65 000 mats have gone to people in need,  mainly through the help of Canadian Food for Children in Mississauga.
