Business Acumen

Synopsis:

Sustainability is no longer a niche topic: it is reshaping how organizations operate, innovate, and create long-term value. As businesses respond to evolving ESG expectations, regulatory requirements, stakeholder priorities, and market pressures, project professionals are increasingly expected to understand how sustainability connects to strategy, governance, technology, and execution.

This session explores key sustainability trends shaping organizations today and examines how AI and digital transformation are accelerating change across industries. Through practical examples and industry insights, attendees will gain a stronger understanding of sustainability in action, emerging business priorities, and the role project managers can play in supporting organizational transformation.

Participants will leave with practical insights into how sustainability goals can be translated into business action, how cross-functional collaboration supports ESG initiatives, and how project professionals can strengthen their business acumen to stay ahead in a changing landscape.

  • Explore how AI and digital transformation are influencing sustainability strategy and execution
  • Identify opportunities for project managers to contribute to sustainability initiatives and organizational change
