Dr. Rakesh Kantaria is an accomplished educator, electrical engineer, and automation specialist with nearly 30 years of experience in robotics, automation, power systems, and engineering education. As a Professor in the School of IT Administration & Security (ITAS) at Seneca Polytechnic, he combines academic expertise with industry experience to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and real-world applications.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kantaria has taught and mentored more than 5,000 students across two continents, developed industry-focused curricula,mestablished advanced learning environments, and helped students build successful careers in technology and engineering fields. His research and professional interests focus on innovation, automation, emerging technologies, and addressing real-world industry challenges.

A recognized speaker and award-winning educator, Dr. Kantaria has received several prestigious honors for excellence in teaching and community service. He is passionate about helping organizations and project professionals understand how technologies such as humanoid robotics and AI are transforming industries, the workforce, and the future of project management.
