BA COMMUNITY - VISUAL MODELLING WORKSHOP
Event Organizer: Business Analysis
Synopsis:
Do you struggle with gaps in requirements? Do your stakeholder groups often have a different understanding of what is being built? Can’t seem to get approval of the typical boring, textual requirements? If you suffer from any of these issues, this workshop may be for you!
You will learn how to use visual modelling to identify gaps in requirements and communicate requirements to achieve a common understanding of them among stakeholders and to facilitate the approval process.
This 1 day visual modelling workshop will demonstrate when each technique should be used and provide many opportunities to practice the techniques being covered. This workshop will provide you with practical experience in creating and/or analyzing:
• Process models
• Use case diagrams and scenarios
• State diagrams
• Location models
• Decision models
• Entity relationship diagrams
This workshop would be valuable to anyone who has a need to communicate information using visuals or understand information being communicated via visuals. For example, business analysts, project managers, subject matter experts, quality assurance analysts and developers.
The PMI TORONTO Chapter and Global Knowledge have successfully partnered together to offer a 1 day hands on workshop. This training event was inspired by both groups to help support and develop the skills of the community with convenient Saturdays in mind.
