Interactive Workshop: Learn How to Support Your Projects for Success
Knowing project management principles and understanding how to apply them is becoming an important skill set in the workplace.
Often, mission-critical projects are managed internally and employees divide their time between day-to-day responsibilities and advancing projects. In addition, project sponsors often underestimate their contributions needed to achieve project success. This can be stressful, lead to misunderstandings and overall project delays.
The objective of this workshop is to define the critical role of the project sponsor and how the project sponsor can support the project team throughout the project management life cycle. This interactive workshop will help project managers and their teams to build meaningful relationships with their project sponsors, regardless of the project management methodology.
- Setting the stage on project management
- Understanding the role of the project sponsor
- How project sponsors can support project teams throughout the project life cycle/sprints
- How to engage with “absent” project sponsors
- The importance of communication and creating a positive project climate
