Synopsis:
Do you feel like you’re working really hard but not getting the results you want? Are you constantly coercing your team members to perform? The good news is that there is a way for project managers to build team commitment and create a more predictable project environment to improve your success. The ‘secret’ is out - it’s leadership skills. Effective leadership, communication and negotiation can improve team commitment and reduce “hiccups” in project execution. This session provides leadership techniques to build commitment with any team, on any project in any industry.

Biography:
As a distinguished facilitator with Canadian Management Centre, Reg Scotland combines his extensive project management experience with a passion for continuous development to create applied learning experiences that leave participants prepared and motivated for success.
Reg’s experience includes business and information systems, technical communications, business analysis, change management and project management – providing turn-key services for client organizations. He has taken major projects and organizational restructuring/relocation from conception to completion.
His more recent experience has focused on change management for organizations facing major challenges over corporate compliance and regulatory processes and performance. In addition to his extensive civilian experience, Mr. Scotland has 25 years of leadership experience as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve. He commanded 25 (Toronto) Service Battalion.

There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than 5 business days before the event. However, substitutions are welcome. Please let us know by 12:00 noon the day before the event of the person you wish to substitute by emailing events@pmitoronto.ca.
