GTIS BRANCH - WHAT IS KANBAN AND HOW TO IMPLEMENT IT?
Event Type: GTIS Branch Event
Speaker: Charan Atreya
Title: What is Kanban and how to implement it? - Signal – that’s what Kanban means in Japanese where the word originated. We will look at when to use Kanbans and how to use them to improve productivity.
Kanban is the most misunderstood process in software development. Just having a visual board does not make it a Kanban. There are few other features that turns your visual board into a Kanban. That’s what we will look at in the session. We will implement a Kanban and deliver some work items during the session to reinforce the concept of continuous flow.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify bottlenecks to your project delivery before they become raging fires
2. Build an empowered team
3. Improve productivity
