PMP Certification Prerequisites

The PMP Boot Camp course is designed for individuals: 

• with considerable experience leading projects
• knowledgable of best practices within predictive (waterfall), agile, and hybrid project management
• that meet all exam application prerequisites
• with the availability to dedicate 5 consecutive weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (EST), to course attendance
• who may still require their 35 hours of education/training

Note: The PMI Toronto PMP Boot Camp course provides you with the 35 required hours of project management education.

To complete your application for the PMP exam, you will require the following qualifications:

• A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or university equivalent
• 36 months of leading projects
• 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

OR

• A high school diploma or an associate's degree (or global equivalent)
• 60 months of leading projects
• 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

Note: If you do not meet the PMP exam prerequisites, we do not recommend registering for the PMI Toronto PMP Boot Camp course. We recommend students write the exam shortly after completing the course and if you will not be eligible to write the exam after completing the course, we advise aspiring students to register once those requirements can be met.

The PMI Toronto Chapter's Virtual PMP Boot Camp course, based on PMBOK 6th Edition, runs for 5 consecutive weekdays from Monday, August 16 to Friday, August 20, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST).

All of the PMI Toronto PMP and Disciplined Agile Instructors are earners of the Authorized Training Partner Program badge and authorized by PMI to support the professional development needs of future or current PMI practitioners and stakeholders in their pursuit of PMI Credentials.
