Synopsis:


PMI Toronto’s Quarterly Canadian Online Events (QCoE) plans to bring and showcase best-in-class Projects executed within Canada. We have a diverse range of topics and accomplished speakers lined up with 5 events planned between December 2021 and June 2022. We believe the diversity and the uniqueness of the topics will energize and inspire chapter members and guests.

Our inaugural event is a Fireside Chat with Nicolai Salcedo, CIO Walmart, which will explore the realms of PM Leadership.

Nicolai Salcedo

Nicolai Salcedo is the Chief Information Officer for Walmart Canada. Nicolai is responsible for driving the company’s digital transformation which includes the delivery of technology across the entire Canadian business including, stores, pharmacies and supply chain as well as the implementation of Digital Strategy for eCommerce and marketplace.

Nicolai has over 20 years of experience working in the information technology field across multiple industries. In his most recent position as the Senior Vice President & Head of Information Technology for Mattamy Corporation, Canada’s largest residential homebuilder, he was responsible for defining and leading the IT strategy for the company. Prior to Mattamy, Nicolai spent time in consulting services with Delphix and Aimia as Vice President Global IT Strategy & Global PMO as well as 14 years with Procter & Gamble in various roles and geographies supporting local and global initiatives.

Nicolai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, a finance certificate from Schulich School of Business, and has been a board member for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Toronto and CIO Canada Association.
